RISOTTO WITH WILD RICE & MUSHROOMS
This simple but tasty mushroom risotto is an easy dish that brings out the flavour of sautéed mushrooms and onions. Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup of wild rice
  • 1 cup of chopped fresh champignon mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • 2 cups of water
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat.

Add the onion and mushrooms and stir for 5 minutes.

Add the rice and the water.

Once it comes to a boil, boil the rice over medium heat for half an hour.

Remove from the heat and cover with a towel and a lid.

Once the excess liquid is absorbed, remove the lid and serve
